Sound Transit's Mukilteo open house is Oct. 30; Event is 5 p.m. at Rosehill

Sound Transit (ST) is evaluating more than 50 potential projects to improve parking and access at the Mukilteo Sounder station so more residents can use a traffic-free travel option. Sound Transit currently has $40 million to split between Mukilteo and Edmonds, but the amounts do not have to be split 50-50, Public Works Director Mick Matheson said.
In Mukilteo, projects that ST are reviewing include:
-New parking locations
-5th Street bike land and shared-use path
-Sidewalks and bus stop enhancements along the Mukilteo Speedway/SR525
-New bus stops and scheduling refinements
