The second annual Walk 4 CMT (Seattle) raised more than $8,000, double the amount from last year’s event. Mukilteo resident Emily Osborne, who was diagnosed with the disease, helped organize the walk Saturday, July 13, at Harbour Point Middle School. CMT is a neurological disease that affects one in every 2,500 people in the United States. CMT affects motor and sensory nerves, eventually killing the nerves in the lower legs, feet and hands.
