City looking for pro/con ballot statement committee members

The Mukilteo City Council passed Resolution 2019-07 at last Monday’s meeting to place on the Nov. 5 ballot a measure asking voters to change the current form of government from mayor-council, to a city manager-council format.
With the change in government format, the mayor position would no longer be elected by the voters. Instead, the City Council would be select one of their members to serve as mayor on a rotating basis.
