Young Knights wrap up season at district tourney | Softball

A young Kamiak softball team caught a glimpse of its potential future at the Wes-King 4A District tournament.
After falling 5-2 to Woodinville in the first round, the Knights rebounded to defeat Inglemoor 7-3 before being eliminated by Bothell 7-4 Wednesday, May 15, at Phil Johnson Fields in Everett.
“The tournament I thought went well,” Knights coach Ann Bradley said. “The girls came back after the first loss and were ready to compete. It was nice to see that they played really well against both teams.”
The Knights started only two seniors and will return both of their pitchers...
