The Marauders faced two of their biggest challenges of the year against league leader Glacier Peak and defending state champion Jackson in Wesco 4A softball play last week.

While Mariner lost 16-0 to the Grizzlies and 17-0 to the Timberwolves, coach Nathan Beachy saw signs of improved play from the Marauders, who also fell 16-6 earlier in the week to Cascade.
