Two seniors, freshman power Kamiak’s distance crew | Track and field

Kamiak’s Leah Clark, Emma Arceo and Alicia Anderson lead the pack in the 3,200. Anderson won the race and was followed by Arceo and Clark.

Kamiak’s girls distance crew had a stellar start in the first Wesco 4A track and field meet of the season.

Senior Alicia Anderson, freshman Emma Arceo and senior Leah Clark finished 1-2-3 in the 3,200-meter race Thursday, March 21, at Lake Stevens High School.

Anderson clocked in at 11 minutes, 35.70 seconds and was followed by Arceo (11:37.06) and Clark (11:44.38).

The three are coming off a successful cross country season that saw Arceo place seventh, Anderson take ninth and Clark grab 15th place at the 4A state championships last fall.
