Sentencing delayed for would-be ACES shooter

Just over a year after Joshua O’Connor was arrested for planning to conduct a shooting and bombing at ACES High School, judge Bruce Weiss delayed his sentencing at a hearing on Feb. 12.
O’Connor pleaded guilty in December to attempted first-degree murder, unlawful possession of an explosive and first-degree robbery. The night before he was arrested, O’Connor and a friend robbed an ampm on Casino Road. The money from the robbery was going to go towards his shooting plot.
