The Mukilteo Police Department is looking for help from the public to help arrest a suspect who shot a man Thursday, Jan. 10, at The Hamptons in Harbour Pointe.

That night just before 7 p.m., officers responded to the condominium complex, located in the 5300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard, where they found Jonathan Hunter, a 38-year-old man from Lynnwood.

Hunter reportedly had been shot in the right leg, and was soon taken to the hospital to treat his injuries.

Police say Hunter is familiar with the suspect, and believe that the shooting was an isolated incident.

The Mukilteo Police Department is teaming with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound to track down Hunter’s assailant, and the agencies are looking to the public for assistance.

Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest in the case, which is being treated as first-degree assault.
