Mariner’s fall play, ‘The Will and The Spirit,’ starts this week

Mariner High School drama students are excited to present their fall production of “The Will and The Spirit,” by David Meyer.
In this ghostly tale, Neal Downer doesn’t believe in ghosts and is forced to stay the night in a dilapidated mansion to fulfill the terms of the will of his late eccentric uncle.
The estate is rumored to have a mysterious curse on it and is haunted, but that doesn’t scare away Neal, his fiancée, Babs, or his best friend, Rudy. Nor does it deter two eager reporters or the pair of stranded, road-weary motorists.
Performances will be held in Mariner’s Little Theatre at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9, 10, 16, and 17. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
Free matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 13 and 14.
