Mariner wraps up year with high hopes for future | Football

The Mariner girls soccer team ended the season without a victory.

The Marauders lost 3-0 to Cascade and then fell 5-1 to Glacier Peak in their final two games last week.

Even though the Marauders finished the year 0-13-1 in the Wesco 4A and 0-14-2 overall, the players continued to battle in every game.

“They’re tough,” second year Mariner coach Michelle Marklund said. “They never quit. They play hard.”

The Marauders lose a number of seniors but will return the bulk of their players, who are juniors and sophomores.
