Christopher Michael Wall: 1976 – 2018

Posted

Chris, 42, passed away unexpectedly on October 20th, 2018, surrounded by the love of his children, family and friends. Born in Everett on October 6th, 1976, he spent his young life living in Mukilteo. As an adult, he lived in Lake Stevens before returning to his hometown in 2014.

Chris was a good man, truly one of a kind. His smart wit and dry sense of humor kept everyone laughing with him. A talented mechanic, he was always sought out for assistance, and would drop everything to help his family and friends with automotive work.

He was a very talented truck driver. As soon as he was old enough, Chris worked for his dad’s towing business. He was loved by law enforcement officials and customers alike.

His Dad started a dump trucking business and Chris became one of the best drivers in the area, later working with a very special group of guys at Dirt Exchange in Ballard. His boss rewarded him with a new Kenworth last year, and painted his name on the door. Chris was so proud of that truck.

Chris’s two children were his life. He became a single parent in 2013 and devoted himself to them. His love and pride for them were evident every time he glanced their way. Chris and his son were working together with his father to build a racecar and planned to go racing at Evergreen Speedway next year.

In his son, we see a little Chris. His daughter is the spitting image of her dad, from her eyes and nose to the shape of her face. She was truly daddy’s girl.

Chris loved life. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved our annual family camping trips to Lake Roosevelt where the week was spent boating and camping with his kids, brother, aunts and uncles, cousins, and his mom. For Chris, life was about family.

Chris leaves behind two children, Jayden and Ashlynn, his mother Krina Wall, father Brad (Tammy) Wall, brother Jeff, grandparents Eileen and Bob MacQuarrie, the children’s mother Angela Wall, and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Chris on Sunday, November 4th at 1 p.m. at the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club, 1134 2nd Street, Mukilteo, WA.
