Two turnovers in the second quarter by Mariner offense and the defense’s inability to shut down Mount Vernon turned a tight game into a blowout loss.
The Bulldogs scored four unanswered touchdowns in the second quarter to defeat Mariner 42-14 in a Wesco 4A football game Friday, Oct. 5, at Mount Vernon High School.
