Kamiak edges Cascade for first victory of season | Football

Kamiak sophomore quarterback Damon Crouse scores on a 1-yard run in his first varsity start.

On a night when Kamiak honored its seniors, two of them and a sophomore quarterback making his first varsity start gave the Knights reason to celebrate.

Senior defensive lineman Cameron Osbjornsen recovered a fumble in the end zone after senior defensive back Malachi Goodman caused a fumble and sophomore quarterback Damon Crouse threw a pass to freshman wide receiver Dylan James for the go-ahead 2-point conversion, as Kamiak edged Cascade 14-13 in a Wesco 4A football game Friday, Oct. 5, at Goddard Stadium.
