New quarterback helps engineer two Kamiak scoring drives | Football

Kamiak lost its fourth straight game, but the Knights may have found its quarterback for the rest of the season and the future.

Sophomore Nick Laman made his first varsity start at quarterback in place of senior quarterback Hunter Bolllschweiler, who was sidelined with a leg injury suffered against Mariner.

Laman ran for a touchdown and threw for another in a 68-13 loss to Glacier Peak in a Wesco 4A football game Friday, Sept. 21, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Snohomish.

Kamiak coach Bryant Thomas saw significant progress from Laman, who came in to relieve Bollschweiler two weeks ago....
