Mariner’s no-quit attitude paid off in its season opener.

The Marauders were trailing Lakewood 1-0 with time running out in the second half of the nonconference girls soccer game Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Goddard Stadium.

With only seconds remaining in the contest, senior Olivia Satterlee passed the ball to sophomore Jay Jimenez, who scored a goal to give the Marauders the tie.
