Posted

Scott Mitchell Hyde, 58, passed away June 4, 2018 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cheryl, his children, Terra, Megan, Ryan and Shawna, and his mother, Carol.

Scott was born in Seattle, Washington on July 19, 1959. He graduated from Ingraham High School in 1977, and later on from Seattle University in 1982 with a degree in Accounting. Although he was a Seattle U alum, Scott was an avid Huskies fan and enjoyed watching Husky football with his friends and family.

Scott went on to have a 35-year career as a CPA, most recently at Bauer Evans Madrona Financial Services in Everett, Washington. He was also an active member of his community, and served as the President of the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce in 2005.

When he wasn't at the office or serving the community, Scott spent his time watching Mariners baseball and Seahawks football, fishing on his 1958 Bell Boy, golfing, grilling, listening to music, and most importantly, always surrounded himself with his close friends and family. Scott's joyful and loving spirit will always be remembered and cherished by those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Scott's name to the APS Foundation of America, to bring awareness to Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome.
