Native Story Teller to Speak in Everett

Paul Cheokten Wagner will be the featured speaker at the June 25 meeting of the local climate activist group 350 Everett.

Wagner, of the Saanich First Nations, is a traditional storyteller, an award-winning Native American flutist and longtime climate activist. He was the founder of Winter Shelter, the “Tarpee,” for the Standing Rock protest against the trans Canadian pipeline in North Dakota.
