The Mukilteo Mavericks Baseball Club’s 9U team won the Hollywood Stars tournament championship over Memorial Day weekend in Woodinville.

Mukilteo played five games and outscored its opponents 39-23, including a 9-1 victory over the Bothell Baseball Club in the championship game.

The club was created in 2016 to allow local youth to play competitive baseball in addition to their Little League season. The club’s schedule is complementary to Little League as teams playin a variety of tournaments, scrimmages and receive training.
