Kamiak takes 3rd at Kentridge Invitational | Boys swimming

The Kamiak boys swim team earned two first-place finishes at the annual Kentridge Invitational Saturday, Jan. 6, at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

Freshman Vlad Gliszmer won the 500-yard freestyle in 4 minutes, 42.03 seconds and also swam on the Knights’ winning 200 medley relay squad with teammates Walter Limm, Maxwell Fang and Brian Park, which clocked in at 1:37.88.

Kamiak placed third in the team competition with 424 points, behind Mercer Island (698) and Issaquah (444).

Gliszmer also took sixth and Fang was eighth in the 200 freestyle. Fang finished ninth in the 10...
