The newly founded Kamiak Knights RBI Club, which supports Kamiak’s baseball program, will host their first dine-out of the year at the new MOD Pizza in Mukilteo on Wednesday Dec. 13.

MOD Pizza will donate 20 percent of purchases from customers who present a printed or digital version of the flyer to their cashier.

According to Kamiak’s head baseball coach, Kevin Agnew, the money raised will go toward equipment, uniforms, facility improvements, team activities and travel for the upcoming season.

“Really, our mission right now is to begin the development of a well-rounded championship baseball program,” Agnew said. “The big thing is we are in the first year of putting together the Kamiak RBI Club, the baseball booster club, and are trying to promote the club and the program and grow youth baseball in the Mukilteo community.

“We’ve connected with the Little League on some camps and things and connected with the newly formed Mukilteo Baseball Club to create some partnerships and relationships with the goal of growing youth baseball in Mukilteo.”

Agnew said there are other projects and fundraising opportunities on the horizon for the booster club.

“We are also working toward funding for a batting cage project down the road, and we are planning to put on a golf tournament fundraiser to promote high school and youth baseball in Mukilteo.”

According to Barb Marshall, a member of the Kamiak RBI Club, MOD Pizza will only put the 20 percent toward the booster club if they see either a physical or digital copy of a flyer that is available on Kamiak baseball’s website.

To download a flyer to print or show one from your phone, go to the “handouts” page on

Marshall also said online orders will not be a part of the fundraiser, and there will not be flyers in the parking lot outside of MOD Pizza, so those wanting to support the booster club need to visit the baseball team’s website.

In addition to purchasing food from MOD on Dec. 13, Agnew said there are additional ways for people and local businesses to help support the RBI Club.

“Other ways to get involved include joining the Kamiak RBI Club membership, attendance at games in the spring, sponsorship of varsity game balls and theme night t-shirts at various home games and through our program poster and website. People can visit that for more information on sponsorship, schedules, membership, booster meetings and contact information.”
