Small Paine Field plane crashed on Sunday

A small plane carrying two people crashed just seconds after takeoff on Sunday, Dec. 3.

The plane, a Cessna 152 aircraft, had engine trouble just moments after taking off and ended up crashing near a business parking lot on Commando Road after flying over 112th Street Southwest, according to Arif Ghouse, Paine Field’s Airport director.

According to Ghouse, the takeoff and crash occurred just before 1:30 p.m, causing heavy damage to the plane.
