Letter: Exemplary trick-or-treaters

Having lived in the same home in Mukilteo for over 18 years, I still marvel at the courteous and upbeat behavior of the 200 to 300 trick-or-treaters that ring our doorbell every Halloween.

This is true for all ages, especially the teens. In the early years, I expected to awake to at least some candy wrappers strewn along my sidewalk, a bit of grass trampled, maybe a garden gnome moved or missing. This has never been the case. In all these years, I have maybe found a couple of candy wrappers. That’s it.
