Mukilteo school board report

During its meeting on October 23, the Mukilteo School Board did the following:

Approved a revision to Board Policy 4340 (Public Access to District Records).

Heard staff presentations about and discussed: a program that allows students to earn high school world language credits by taking a proficiency exam, and proposed revisions to Board Policy 3115 (Homeless Students: Enrollment Rights and Services) and to Board Policy 3416 (Medication at School).

During a dialogue session held before the general business meeting at the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center, members of the school board heard a presentation about the school’s video game design program, diesel program, and aerospace program through the lens of equity regarding access, barriers, and pathways that are available to students.
