Mariner showing growth despite losses | Soccer

A week after Mariner picked up its first Wesco 4A victory of the season over Cascade, the Marauders are continuing to play some of their best soccer of the season.

The Marauders battled to a 1-1 tie against non-conference opponent Granite Falls on Monday, Oct. 9, lost 7-0 to district rival Kamiak on Tuesday, Oct. 10, and then wrapped up the week with a 5-2 defeat to Glacier Peak on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Mariner lost 7-0 to the Grizzlies in their first meeting of the season in late September.
