I love Mukilteo!

Mukilteo is very unique. There aren’t many cities where you can find a lighthouse and watch the Dreamliner take off! There are also lots of businesses here that you wouldn’t find anywhere else, like Nic’s Barbershop and The Sydney Bakery. It’s amazing how unique Mu-kilteo is from history to community.

Mukilteo is one of the oldest cities in Snohomish County. It was named after a Native American tribal leader, and has a place now known as Waterton Circle that was a fishing camp for the Native Americans.

Mukilteo is a close and strong community. We have been strong after all that has hap-pened in the past few years. Everybody is there for each other.

Mukilteo’s schools are great – from education to kids treating others nicely. I’ve had teachers that are amazing. I can’t remember ever having a bad teacher!

Thanks to all my former teachers for being nice, open minded and helping me with any problems I had. Also, it’s not just the teachers; it’s the para-educators, too. They do so much for us, from making sure we’re OK if we fall to helping us with bullies and other problems.

After school activities are awesome in Mukilteo – from sports to acting to things that help kids think outside the box, like Destination Imagination and STEM. We have those programs because Mukilteo cares about its kids.

Everybody helps and has an important part in our city, no matter how young or old you are. Mukilteo is where you should be treated by what your character is and not the color of your skin or your gender. We all work together to make sure everyone is treated fairly.

Mukilteo is a remarkable city and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. From community to history, Mukilteo is truly astonishing!
