5 teen bands ready to battle it out | MukFest

Five bands will compete for the privilege to wield the coveted golden “Kamiaxe” at this year’s teen Battle of the Bands.

The 11th annual Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival contest will be held from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Four bands from around the Puget Sound will each perform a 30-minute set at this year’s Battle of the Bands: Blinded by Color, the School of Rock House Band, Terrace Funk Combo and CounterProductive and Muskaan Swaroop. A sixth band, Esoson, will perform but not compete, while a seventh musicia...
