Overcrowding forces school district to restrict enrollment

For the 13th year in a row, the Mukilteo School District will not accept enrollment applications for students who live outside the district’s boundary.

Overcrowded buildings are once again causing all of the district’s 20 schools to limit new admissions for the 2017-18 school year to just those students who live within the boundary.

With the restriction, all three of the school district’s high schools, all four middle schools and all 12 elementary schools, as well as the new Pathfinder Kindergarten Center, will not take students who live outside of the boundary.
