Master gardeners slate winter speaker series | School brief

October 19, 2016

Registration is now open for the Snohomish County Master Gardener Foundation’s 14th annual Winter Speaker Series.

This year’s popular sustainable gardening series features Northwest garden personalities during eight sessions on alternate Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Jan. 6.

Sessions are held in the Mukilteo Presbyterian Church Social Hall, 4515 84th St. SW in Mukilteo.

All proceeds go to the Master Gardener Foundation of Snohomish County, which provides major funding support to Snohomish County master gardener programs.

“As a nonprofit, we depend upon the ticket sales of this series to fund our various teaching and mentoring programs throughout the county,” said Bernie Wojcik, co-chair of the winter speaker series.

A pass for the complete series is $85; single sessions are $20. Passes may be purchased online or at the door. Visit for a complete list of dates, speakers, topics and how to register.

Questions? Call the Snohomish County WSU Extension Office between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday-Friday at 425-357-6010.
