Student carolers visit local retirement centers | School brief

The Starry Knights, shown here at this year’s Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting event, visited Harbour Pointe Retirement in Mukilteo to sing holiday songs to residents on Dec. 8. The group is an all-girls Kamiak High School barbershop choir.

Students from all three Mukilteo high schools recently visited local retirement centers to spread holiday cheer to the residents who live there.

Twenty ACES students sang 15 songs to residents of Holly Village Senior Living in Everett. The residents made special song requests, such as “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”

“It was heart-warming for the students and staff to be able to spread the holiday cheer,” said Liz Reynolds, secretary at ACES.
