Attend Pacific Seafood meeting Jan. 5 | Letter

Editor, The Beacon:

In response to the strong community interest in the proposed Pacific Seafood processing plant on 44th Avenue W., the company (not the city) will be hosting another information meeting [“Residents don’t want seafood plant traffic,” front page, Dec. 2].

That meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the Council Chambers at Mukilteo City Hall.

This is a really big deal because of the impact to our neighborhood and the conflict with the newly adopted Mukilteo Comprehensive Plan. We need to understand what is being proposed and what mitigation steps are bei...
