Winter Festival

Scrap Metal Drive

Kamiak Jazz Invitational

9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kamiak is having its annual Jazz Invitational. This year’s event brings jazz bands from all over Puget Sound. The Jim Cutler Jazz Orchestra will perform a concert and host workshops after the school performances, which go until 2:30 p.m. Open to the public. Tickets are $10. Help fight cancer

The editor of the Mukilteo Beacon is again on a Relay for Life team with the goal of raising $1,000 for the American Cancer Society. Sara Bruestle will be in the Mill Creek relay as part of the Life Savers team. She is relaying in honor of her grandpa, 81, who has stage 4 throat cancer. ESL Talk Time

AAA Driver Program

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The AAA Driver Improvement Program is offering its refresher course on defensive driving skills. The course gives practical guidance for traffic accident prevention and enhances driver safety and confidence. Meatloaf Cook Off
