Paine Field Open House

4-7 p.m. Paine Field wants to thank you for being a part of what makes it the "Airport of Choice.” Join Paine Field for its annual Open House. Handbell Ringers

5:45-7 p.m. Ever wanted to try handbell ringing? The Mukilteo Presbyterian Church is in need of bell ringers high school age or older. No experience needed and church membership is not required. The Nutcracker

Santa to visit Historic Flight

Noon. Santa Claus will arrive at the Historic Flight Foundation in the red Staggerwing Beech. Kids of all ages will have a chance to make a wish, complete puzzles, launch two-loop gliders, decorate photo-frame cards and paint their faces. FoodMachine

Pirate Choir presents holiday concert

2 p.m. Olympic View Middle School’s Pirate Choir will bring some holiday cheer to the Friends of the Mukilteo Library by performing a holiday concert at the group’s meeting. A reception will follow. Volunteers over 55 wanted

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), sponsored by Catholic Community Services, seeks people age 55 and over for a variety of volunteer opportunities. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is recycling cellphones. Cell phones even without service can call 911 when charged. Members of Pan Am flight crews will tell tales of early days of the jet age. This presentation is part of a seminar series tracing the roots of the famed Pan American Airways.
