Halloween Candy Buy Back

8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dr. Jacqueline de Leon-Estes and Harbour Pointe Orthodontics is hosting their 11th Halloween Candy Buy Back now through Nov. 6. They’ll buy back your Halloween treats, $4 for each pound. Half will go to the child, the other $2 will be donated to the charity Convoy of Hope. The collected candy is then sent to our troops. Pan Am and the First Land-Based Routes

Noon. David Lednicer will consider Pan Am’s transition from flying boats to land routes, often through partnerships or subsidiaries such as Panagra, Avianca and China National Aviation Corporation. A special segment will address the history of HFF’s DC-3. This presentation is part of a seminar series tracing the roots of the famed Pan American Airways.
