A day of remembrance for our heroes

Ron Fronheiser, a retired Navy senior chief, Christa Moore, active Army staff sergeant, and Donald Wischmann, retired from the U.S. Navy, of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2100 present the colors at the Mukilteo Historical Society’s Memorial Day ceremony held on Monday, May 26, at the Pioneer Cemetery.

About 50 attended the service in honor of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Speakers included MHS member Christopher Summitt, portraying Mukilteo founder Jacob Fowler, and Mayor Jennifer Gregerson.
