Movies, concerts return to Willis Tucker Park

Snohomish County Parks & Recreation has returned with its annual movies and summer evening series at Willis Tucker Park.

Watch a movie each Thursday night this summer and listen to a concert on Tuesdays at Willis Tucker Community Park.

Scheduled showings in the 2010 Sundquist Family Movies in the Park are:
July 22 – The Fantastic Mr. Fox, 9:35 p.m.

July 29 –  Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 9:25 p.m.

Aug. 5 – Twilight: New Moon, 9:15 p.m.

Aug. 12 – Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, 9 p.m.

Aug. 19 – The Blind Side, 8:45 p.m.
 

Open seating begins at 7:30 p.m. Starting times are approximate, depending on daylight.

Seating is on the grass so bring low-back lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Snacks will be available for purchase.

Refreshments sold by the Mill Creek Lions Club to support Parks’ sponsorship program. Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted.

Or come enjoy Snohomish County Parks & Recreation's second free concert series scheduled for Tuesday evenings this summer beginning at 7 p.m.
Concerts include:
July 27 – Lucas Cates Band
Aug. 3 – Handful of Luvin’
Aug. 10 – The African All-Stars

Willis Tucker Park, located at 6705 Puget Park Dr., Snohomish, offers a great summer experience where visitors can enjoy a picnic or barbeque while the children play in the unique spray park and then watch a movie or enjoy a concert.
