February's theme for Student of the Month at Harbour Pointe Middle School was "Open-minded," an attribute from the International Baccalaureate Profile.  Open-minded learners understand and appreciate their own cultures and personal histories, and are open to the perspectives, values, and traditions of other individuals and communities.  They are accustomed to seeking and evaluating a range of points of view, and are willing to grow from the experience.

Harbour Pointe Middle School selected the following students who best demonstrated these qualities:

Sixth grade:  Tej Asher, Esther Lee, Yasmine Myers, Austin Sonmore and Addie Turner

Seventh grade:  Mia Arzate, Sangho Bak, Matt Bettencourt and Annabelle Falloria

Eighth grade:   Gina Bartelli, Ann Dhaliwal, Kevin Kim and Neil Wang
