Soccer motivation adds up to math success
Explorer’s Jose Ramos knows that if he isn’t passing math, he doesn’t get to play soccer. Ramos, a seventh grader, is in the Math/Soccer Club at Explorer Middle School. The club rewards students for working hard in math class with permission to play soccer.

His teammates can always depend on Jason to set the bar and always do the right thing. He carries a 3.7 gpa. In the fall he will be continuing his studies at the University of Hawaii-Hilo. There he will also be a member of the baseball team. He is a credit and a outstanding member of our team.
