The Mukilteo district school board will consider whether to OK a contract with the Mukilteo Education Association when the board meets on Monday, Sept. 13.

The MEA ratified the three-year collective bargaining agreement on Aug. 30.

The tentative agreement includes a range of issues, including salary increases each year of 2 percent, 2 percent and 3 percent.

Also in the tentative agreement is a change in tax liability for domestic partner insurance coverage to reflect state law, inclusion of state law about Military Family Leave and Domestic Violence Leave, a plan for assuring employees aren’t responsible for student supervision during duty free lunch, arrival or dismissal of students, or if students are returned from bus transportation, and other issues.

The school board’s regular meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the district office at 9401 Sharon Dr., Everett.
