The Mukilteo School District and the Mukilteo Education Association (MEA) have agreed to a new three-year contract.

Members of the MEA, which represents Mukilteo teachers, approved the contract in a meeting Aug. 30. 

With the new contract, the school district’s calendar for the 2010-11 school year is now available.

 

The school year begins today, Wednesday, Sept. 1 and is scheduled to end on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

Thanksgiving vacation will be on Nov. 25 and 26, winter break will begin on Dec. 20 with students returning to school on Jan. 3.

 

There will be a full week off for mid-winter break and Presidents Day from Feb. 21-25 and spring break will be the week of April 4-8.
