Aug. 24

Animal Complaint – 900 block 10th Street    
A resident reported he found a stray white Poodle.  It was transported to PAWS.

Animal Complaint – SR-525 & Beverly Park Rd    
An officer was dispatched to the above area for a report of two dead raccoons in the roadway.  They were located south of the intersection in unincorporated Snohomish County.

Civil –10500 47th Pl W            
R/P wanted to file a complaint against Child Protective Services because they took her children from her.  The officer found that the children had been taken about six years prior.  She was advised to contact CPS or an attorney.

Animal Complaint – 700 block Second Street        
Officers responded to the above parking lot for a report of a dog that had been locked in a car for over an hour.  The car was locked and the temperature inside was over 95 degrees.  The dog’s owner was located and opened the door.  A citation for Animal Cruelty/Transporting in an Unsafe Manner will be issued.

Abandoned Vehicle – 5300 block 85th Pl SW        
An officer responded to the above area for a report of an abandoned vehicle.  The officer marked the tires and posted a warning notice.

Traffic Collision – SR-525 & Goat Trail Rd.    
Officers responded to the above location for a three vehicle, blocking collision.  Vehicles 2 and 3 stopped for traffic.  Vehicle 1 did not stop in time, stuck vehicle 2 and pushed it into 3.  One of the passengers was transported to Providence hospital with minor injuries.

Juvenile Runaway – 11100 block Chennault Beach Road
A resident reported her daughter as a runaway.  The daughter reportedly left home without permission at about 10 a.m. and went to her grandmother’s residence in Oakville.  (She had been living with her grandmother for several months up until a couple of days ago.)  The officer advised the mother on how she could go about recovering the daughter with the assistance of the local police, if needed.  The mother asked that the runaway incident be documented.  The daughter was not recorded as a missing person.  The officer advised the mother to contact him if she was unsuccessful at recovering her daughter from the grandmother’s so that he could enter her as a missing person.

Child Neglect – 11700 block SR-525                            
An officer was dispatched to a report that a child was in a parked car at the location, the car’s alarm was going off, and the child was screaming.  The child reportedly opened the car door and got out, looking scared.  The child’s father returned to the car and put the child in the car and left.  The officer located the father and son.  The father explained that his son is autistic and had a breakdown while walking into the store from the car.  The father said he took his son back to the car and ran into the store quickly.  The father acknowledged he might have handled the situation better and was apologetic.  The son appeared OK and the officer observed no other problems.

Missing Person – 4600 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.                
A resident reported that her mother-in-law was dropped off at the Mukilteo Library three and a half hours earlier with three children, but the library is closed for remodeling, and she didn’t know where they were.  The woman agreed to call back if she didn’t locate her mother-in-law before dark.  

Parking Complaint – 12300 block Double Eagle Drive                
An officer was dispatched to a complaint of three juveniles in a white car parked on the sidewalk and yard at the location.  The three juveniles had reportedly headed toward Club House Lane on skateboards.  The officer located the subjects, who agreed to park the vehicle legally.

Involuntary Committal – 8300 block 53rd Avenue W
R/P reported that his former roommate was expressing suicidal thoughts.  He said she is depressed and had been drinking. The subject told him on the phone to say goodbye to her kids before hanging up.  Officers contacted the subject at the location. She had been drinking and did acknowledge she was feeling suicidal.  An officer transported her to the Providence hospital ER.

Trespass – 6700 block Waterton Circle                        
An officer was dispatched to a complaint of 6-7 noisy subjects using a private neighborhood trail to access the beach.  The subjects were contacted via phone and agreed to leave.  No further problems were reported.  

Noise Complaint – 5300 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.    
An officer was dispatched to a complaint of four loud subjects in the pool after closing time.  The officer contacted the four subjects in the pool area, who stated they lived at the complex and were about to leave.  The officer advised them of the pool closing time at 10 p.m.  The subjects stated they had not been aware of the closing time and agreed to leave.  

Juvenile Party – 8000 block 52nd Avenue W
Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible juvenile drinking party at the location.  The caller was concerned the subjects would drive off soon, and reported frequent juvenile drinking parties at the location that typically break up around midnight.  Officers contacted several juveniles at the residence. The group had a very small amount of beer, marijuana and two marijuana pipes with them.  Only a few of the juveniles were confirmed to have been drinking or smoking.  Each of the juveniles was released to his guardian and the contraband was destroyed.  

Suspicious Circumstances – 5300 block Eagle Bluff Lane                
Broadview Alarm Company reported they had received a call from the homeowner at the location.  She reported that a juvenile had been ringing her doorbell for a long time; about five minutes.  She also reported that her alarm panel indicated a screen had been removed from a downstairs bedroom window, though her alarm had not activated.  She reported last seeing the juvenile about 45 minutes to an hour earlier, and described him as being thin, about 5’2” and as wearing all black.  The window screen had been removed and was damaged.  About an hour prior to this call being dispatched, another officer had contacted a subject walking through the Courtyard Apartments parking lot wearing all dark clothing.  That subject was 5’3” and thin.  He was driven home and released to his mother. During the initial contact, he said he was just out for a walk because he was having difficulty sleeping.  It appeared the subject might not have taken his required medications, and he appeared somewhat confused.  The case is under investigation.

Aug. 25

Malicious Mischief – 4200 78th St. SW
Overnight, an unknown actor or actors shot out three windows at the above business.  No other damage was reported.  It appeared the damage was done with a BB gun.

Check Welfare – BNRR Tracks at 8800 block
Officers responded to the BNRR tracks at the above location regarding a male lying face down next to the tracks.  Prior to officers’ arrivals, a BNRR work crew contacted the man, and he left on foot.

Theft – 8200 block SR-525
Overnight, an unknown actor or actors broke in to the change machine at the above location and stole the contents.

Theft – 11600 SR-525 Rite Aid
Officers received numerous calls regarding two homeless males pan-handling throughout the city.  Officers received a report that they had shoplifted a bottle of wine at Walgreens.  After a brief investigation, officers determined that they had shoplifted the wine from Rite Aid and were able to see the theft on the store surveillance video.  Both subjects were arrested and booked for third-degree theft.

Vehicle Prowl – 900 block Mukilteo Lane
Officers responded to the Sounder Station regarding a vehicle prowl.  Officer contacted a photographer down on the BNRR tracks who had videotaped a vehicle prowl that had just occurred.  The case is under investigation.

Theft – 2600 block SR-525
Last week at a registration event, cash was stolen from one of the cash boxes.  There was no suspect information available.

Assault DV – 11100 block Chennault Beach Rd.
Officers responded to the above address regarding a verbal domestic case between a mother and daughter.  While officers were on scene, the daughter assaulted her mother.  The daughter was booked into Denney Youth Center for fourth-degree assault DV.

Traffic Collision – Goat Trail Rd. & SR-525                
Two vehicles were involved in a blocking, non-injury collision.  One driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
                                        
Suspicious–5200 block 84th St. SW                     
A resident reported a 16-year-old white female with blonde hair and a red jacket hanging out in front of her window.  The subject said she was visiting a friend.  The subject was gone on arrival.
                                             
Hang Up – 5000 block 84th St. SW    
Hello, India?                
SNO-COM received a 911 hang-up.  A female said she was trying to call India.  The officer confirmed there were no problems.

Arson/Suspicious – 700 Third St.                    
A caller from The Copper Comb hair salon reported she found that someone had started a fire on the cement in front of the business, and she had since cleaned it up.  She requested contact at her residence.  She said it occurred at about 10 a.m.  Two newspapers were on fire and there were cigarette butts and beers in the area.  She said there was no damage and she did not want to make a report.  She requested extra patrol.

Found Property – 600 Front St.                    
A citizen turned over two life vests that were found at Lighthouse Park.  The vests were booked into evidence.

Juvenile Problem –2600 block SR-525                    
A caller reported skateboarders at Olympic View Middle School being very loud.  An officer contacted four subjects who agreed to leave.

Found Property – 600 Front St.                    
A Lighthouse Park employee turned over two driver’s licenses as found property.  They were booked into evidence.

Suspicious–1500 Mukilteo Blvd.                    
A caller, who had been drinking, reported hanging out with a female, and her ex-boyfriend came over and attacked him.  While en-route, it was determined he was calling from Mukilteo Blvd.  The incident was turned over to the Everett Police Department.

Suspicious – 5200 block 84th St. SW                    
A caller reported a vehicle alarm sounded in the parking lot, and when she shined a flashlight out, a subject in a tan shirt ducked down between a station wagon and pickup.  The vehicle alarm reset, and she did not know where the subject went to.  Officers checked the area, and did not locate any vehicles that appeared to have been prowled or any subjects.

Suspicious – 5200 block 81st Pl. SW                    
An officer found the driver’s door open in subject vehicle.  There was no sign of forced entry.  Nothing appeared disturbed.  The officer was unable to make contact with the owner, left a note and secured the vehicle.

Aug. 26

2 Vehicle Collision – Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW & Harbour Reach Dr.
A landscape truck with a trailer was stopped in the two-way left turn lane.  The vehicle backed up to reposition and struck another vehicle.   There were no injuries and minimal damage.  The driver of the truck was cited for improper backing.

2 Vehicle Collision – 3900 block SR-525
A vehicle pulled out of the parking lot onto Harbour Point Blvd. SW, striking another vehicle.  The driver of the first vehicle was cited for failure to yield when entering the roadway and for no insurance.  There were no injuries.

Vehicle Theft – 12300 block Harbour Point Blvd.    
A resident reported that his black 1993 Honda Accord was taken from in front of his apartment between about 4:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. today.  The vehicle has damage to the passenger’s side and aftermarket chrome wheels.  There are no suspects at this time.  

Welfare Check – 61st Place W & 91st Pl. SW        
An officer responded to two males and a female walking near the railroad tracks below the location.  The officer contacted the subjects and warned them against trespassing on railroad property.  

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – 12300 block Harbour Point Blvd.    
While taking the above vehicle theft report, the officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle parked at the location.  This vehicle was a dark blue 1992 Honda Accord that had been stolen out of Everett.  The officer released the vehicle to its owner.  There are no suspects.

Noise Complaint – 3900 Blk  Harbour Pt. Blvd SW    
Just two guys, having a good time…
Officers responded to a loud party complaint.  The officers contacted two occupants inside that did not appear to be excessively loud and were only talking.  They said that they would try to talk quieter.  

DUI Collision – 13500 block Beverly Park Rd.        
A subject was traveling northbound on Lincoln Way, ran the stop sign at Beverly Park Rd., drove across the road and ran into a landscape wall in front of the above location.  He also sent several landscape blocks into the house, causing damage to the porch and house.  The subject admitted to speeding, appeared to be intoxicated and failed the field sobriety tests.  Officers arrested him. He blew a .136/.145 at the station and was ultimately cited and released to his brother.  R&R Towing impounded his vehicle.

Suspicious Person – 5400 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.
Extra! Extra! Boy delivers newspaper!        
A resident saw a male standing in front of her apartment.  The male threw something onto the deck above her before walking away.  The officer did not locate the male, but he was likely the paperboy because there was a newspaper on the deck above the complainant.  

Aug. 27

Parking Complaint – 8300 block 53rd Ave. W    
An officer responded to the above area for a report of an illegally parked vehicle.  The officer posted a warning notice and also spoke to the registered owner.  He said that he was having trouble starting it and would move it as soon as possible.

Malicious Mischief – 7900 block 44th Ave. W     
A caller reported that sometime between Aug. 24 and this date, someone shot BB holes through the front windows of his business.

911 Hang-up            5000 block Graham Way        
An officer responded to the above apartment for a 911 hang-up and found a child had been playing with the phone.

Suspicious – 4400 block 106th St. SW        
Officers responded to the above location for a “security issue” with a 24-year-old male.  A subject made a statement about terrorism and blowing up a building.  The officers determined that the subject has a history of seizures, depression, suicide attempts and other mental-health issues.  The threats were not specific, and the subject denied any desire to blow up any building.  He was sent home with his mother.

DUI Collision – Ninth Street & Loveland Ave.                    
An officer was dispatched to an area check for a recklessly driven vehicle that later collided with a second vehicle.  The driver was arrested for driving under influence and provided a BAC sample of .186 and .171.

Malicious Mischief – Lighthouse Park                        
An officer discovered graffiti in the men’s restroom when locking up the park for the night.

1Vehicle Collision – Central Drive & Kay Way                    
A subject lost control of her vehicle and drove into the ditch/embankment.  She was not injured.

Aug. 28

Vehicle Prowl – 600 Front Street            
While at Lighthouse Park, an officer was flagged down for a vehicle prowl.  The resident reported that sometime within the past 30 minutes someone broke out the driver’s side window of a vehicle.  Nothing appeared to be missing.

Vehicle Prowl –1200 block Fifth Street            
A resident reported that a car in the parking lot of Japanese Gulch has a recently broken window and the owner of the car was still out on the trail.  She later returned and said that the car had been rummaged through, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Found Property – 1200 Fifth Street            
While investigating the above vehicle prowl, the officer located two bags containing gutter samples.  The bags were booked into evidence as found property.

Assault – 5400 block 101st St. SW            
Officers responded to the above area for a report of an adult male chasing another male in his 20s.  The officers contacted the adult male.  He said that an unknown male came to his door and told him to stay away from his family or he would beat him.  The male never identified himself or his family.  When the male walked away, the adult male followed him.  The male shoved him told him to stop following, then ran off.  The case is under investigation.

Traffic Collision – 8400 block SR-525            
Officers responded to the above area for a four-vehicle blocking collision with injuries.  Vehicles 2, 3 and 4 were stopped for traffic.  Vehicle 1 did not stop and caused a chain reaction.  Three patients were transported to the hospital.

Juvenile Problem – 5500 block 87th St.            
Officers responded to the above residence for a report of juveniles being loud and swearing.  The officers contacted the residents and asked them to keep the swearing down.

Vehicle Prowl/Theft – 800 block Fifth Street                        
A resident reported that her vehicle window was smashed and a laptop computer was stolen.  The incident occurred Saturday morning during the “Run-a-Muk” event.

Juvenile Problem – 5700 block 128th St. SW                    
A man reported that his 14-year-old son left home to sell cards for his football team this morning and had not returned home.  The officer located the son a few blocks away and drove him home.

Juvenile Problem – 600 Front St.                            
A parks employee requested that an officer contact four juveniles who had been swimming between the boat docks.  The subjects agreed to stop.
Aug. 29

Burglary – 5100 block 86th Pl. SW            
A resident called to report that she interrupted a burglary about 14 hours prior to calling.  She said that at about 1:45 a.m. she heard three subjects trying to pry off the basement-window screen.  They ran off when she confronted them.  She said that they might be former friends of her son.  The case is under investigation.

Hit and Run – 11900 block 59th Ave. W        
An officer responded to the above location for a report that a community mailbox had been knocked over by a hit-and-run vehicle.

Juvenile Problem – 2600 block SR-525                        
An officer was dispatched to a report of a subject riding an unlicensed motorcycle at the above location.  The officer located the subject and had him push the motorcycle home.

Noise Complaint – 10500 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.                    
An officer was dispatched to a report of a loud group of juveniles at the above location.  A group of teens playing a spirited game of “Flashlight Tag” agreed to leave.

Warrant Arrests – 4900 block 81st St. SW                         
Officers made contact at the residence with two subjects and arrested both on felony warrants for dangerous drugs.  They were both booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

Suspicious – 13400 block Harbour Heights Dr.                        
A resident reported finding several muddy stains on her carpet and thought someone may have been walking around in her home while she was away.  The incident is under investigation.

Suspicious – 800 block Webster St.                            
An officer was dispatched to an area check for three males talking loudly in the woods.  The subjects were associated with a party next door.  They agreed to quiet down.

Aug. 30

Residential Burglary – 11600 block Grove Dr.
An officer responded to the above address regarding a burglary that had happened approximately one hour prior.  The unknown actor or actors entered the ground floor of the unit through an unlocked sliding glass door, and stole two laptop computers and some jewelry.  The case is under investigation.

Assist Transit – SR-525 & Front Street
Officers responded to the Community Transit bus at the above location regarding a male on board refusing to leave the bus.  The male had left prior to the arrival of the officers.

Public Nuisance – 8500 block SR-525
Officer took a report regarding aggressive tagging on the unoccupied dwelling at the above location.

Check Welfare – 600 block Front Street
Officers responded to check the welfare of a 35-year-old male staggering around in the street at the above location.  Officers located the man.  He appeared to have been the male from the Community Transit bus earlier in the day.  He was intoxicated and was given a ride to his mother’s home.

Traffic Complaint SR-525 from 84th St. SW
An officer responded for an erratically driven car.  The officer located the vehicle and noticed poor lane travel.  The car was stopped and the driver was contacted.  The driver was not under the influence and was very near home.  The officer allowed the driver to continue home after warning them about their driving.

Information – Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW & Harbour Reach Dr.
A complainant advised that he had been shot the previous night with an “Airsoft” gun as he was walking home.  He said that he was not injured or scared, just concerned that there were a few juveniles driving around shooting the “Airsoft” gun at people.

Blocking Collision – 11700 block SR-525
An officer drove up on a blocking collision at the above location.  One of the cars needed a jumpstart to get out of the travel lane. Officers gave the car a jumpstart and cleared the roadway.  The damage was slight and the parties were assisted with the exchange of information.

Mental – 10700 block SR-525                    
Officers responded to the location for a disorderly patient that was possibly on meth.  He had been destroying property, and they thought he was going to damage the door.  When the officers arrived, he was in a seclusion room.  The officers assisted the staff members in placing him into restraints without incident.  

Verbal Domestic/Warrant Service – 1000 block Goat Trail Loop Rd.  
Officers responded to the location for a disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers determined that a father argued with his daughter.  The officers found no evidence of violence between them, but the daughter had a theft warrant out of the Everett Police Department.  The officers arrested and booked her into the county jail on the warrant.  

Fireworks Complaint – 2600 block SR-525
A last summer hurrah…            
The officer responded to the area for the report of fireworks.  The pyrotechnicians were not located.  

Theft – 11700 block SR-525                    
A caller advised that a male in a green Dodge Caravan, unknown license, took a fiberglass sign from in front of the location.  There are no suspects.

Possible Assault – Chennault Beach Rd. & /SR-525        
The officer responded to a resident who claimed her son slapped her.  Her son refused to talk to the officer about the incident.
