Aug. 10

Vehicle Prowl –12100 block SR-525        
An officer responded to the location for a vehicle prowl.  A caller had reported that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle and ripped her in-dash GPS unit out of the dashboard.  She said that nothing else was missing.

Abandoned Vehicle – 5200 block  86th Pl. SW        
An officer responded to the above area for a report of a white car that had been parked in the street for the past six months.  The officer spoke to the vehicle’s owner who agreed to move it.

Vehicle Prowl –12100 block SR-525        

An officer responded to the location for property found in the dumpster.  The property was later determined to have been stolen from a vehicle nearby.  The driver’s side door handle had been pried open.  Her purse containing cash and credit cards was reported missing.  The credit cards had already been used by the time the owner reported the theft.  The case is under investigation.

Assault – 8000 block SR-525         
Officers responded to the above location for an assault.  The caller reported that his neighbor had just punched him.  The suspect left prior to the officers’ arrival and was not located.

Verbal Domestic Violence – 5000 block 99th St. SW        
A resident reported a disturbance between his ex-wife and their daughters.  It was determined that there had not been an assault.  The caller was advised on the procedure for obtaining a restraining order.

Vehicle Prowl – 11100 block SR-525        
A resident reported that her purse had been stolen from the front seat of her vehicle.  There was no damage to the car.

Alarm – 12000 block Concord Way
Cat burgular…    
An officer responded to the above residence for an alarm.  Cats most likely tripped the alarm.  

Patrol Information – 5600 block North Grove Drive    
A resident reported that about an hour prior to calling, a solicitor came to the door and continually knocked and rang the bell.  She said that he was yelling at her to open the door.  He was not located.

Robbery Alarm – 3800 block H.P. Blvd SW    
Officers responded to the Bank of America for a hold up alarm.  Dispatch reported that when they called in, someone picked up, then the line disconnected.  When they called back in the phone rang without anyone answering.  The officers made contact with an employee at the drive thru who eventually contacted the manager and convinced him to come outside.  He said that someone inside the safe deposit area accidentally hit the alarm and there were no problems.

Disturbance – 300 block Washington Ave.        
Officers responded for a disturbance between the homeowner and a drywall contractor.  Upon the officers’ arrival, the homeowner asked for the contractor to leave.  He agreed.

Narcotics Complaint – 5300 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.                     
A resident reported an ongoing problem with a downstairs neighbor smoking marijuana.  The officer contacted the neighbor and it appeared that he had actually been burning incense.

Harassment – 11100 block Chennault Beach Rd.     
I can hear you…             
A resident reported an ongoing problem of harassment from a downstairs neighbor who became upset anytime he heard even the slightest noise coming from upstairs.  The officer met with the neighbor and explained that he was being unreasonable about the noise.

Assist to Aid – 9900 block Harbour Pl.                    
Officers were dispatched to a check on a female who had reportedly driven her vehicle over a curb.  Bystanders said the female appeared unconscious for a few seconds and then exited her vehicle and began thrashing around on the ground.  Officers assisted aid in restraining the female, who did not appear to be having a seizure and she was transported by aid to the hospital for an unknown medical problem.

Theft of License Plate – 11700 block SR-525                    
A resident reported that the rear license plate of his vehicle was stolen between 8-5 p.m. today while the vehicle was parked.  The plate was recorded as stolen and the front plate was confiscated by the officer.

Noise Complaint – 4800 block 76th St. SW
A resident reported an ongoing problem with an upstairs neighbor playing loud music.  The neighbor’s residence was quiet by the time the officer arrived, and there was no answer at the door.

Involuntary Committal – 100 Loveland Ave.                    
Neighbors reported hearing loud screaming inside the residence.  Contact was made with a father and son. The son appeared to be suffering from some type of mental/physical health problems, had punched himself in the face several times and put a hole in the wall with his head.  He was transported to Stevens Hospital by private ambulance for a mental/physical health evaluation.

911 Hang-Up – 9600 block Harbour Pl.                         
An officer checked on a hang-up call.  A guest inadvertently dialed 911 while trying to access the Internet on his computer.

Assist Law – King County SO
The King County Sheriff’s Office requested that an officer attempt to contact a subject to determine if his red 1989 Honda Prelude might be an unreported stolen.  The officer confirmed that the subject no longer lived at the location and advised KCSO.  KCSO advised the vehicle had apparently attempted to evade being stopped and was abandoned in a ditch in the North Bend area.  A laptop computer, woman’s purse, and drug paraphernalia were located inside the car.

Animal Complaint – 66th Pl. W./Marine View Dr.                    
An officer was dispatched to an area check for an anonymous report of a barking dog, an “ongoing problem.”  The officer located two Saint-Bernard type dogs barking in the yard.  The officer contacted the resident who advised she had not heard the dogs barking.  She brought the dogs inside.

Domestic Disturbance – 5400 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.            
Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up from a cell phone in the area with sounds of a disturbance reported.  Officers contacted a woman in the parking lot.  She was highly agitated and reported she was assaulted.  At her request, she was transported by aid to Steven’s ER with complaints of stomach and back pain.  The case is under investigation.

Aug. 11

Verbal Domestic Violence – 700 block 10th St.
Officers responded to a verbal-domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival, it was determined that the subject was subletting to another male and the two were not getting along.   There was no evidence of assault and the two agreed to stay away from each other.  Renter advised that he would be seeking a restraining order.

Vehicle Prowl – 8200 block SR-525
An officer responded to a vehicle prowl.  Upon arrival, it was determined that $500 was taken from the glove box.  The front passenger window was pulled out.  The suspect was described as a white male with tattoo arms, driving an early 90s red Dodge Dakota with red windshield wipers.

Noise–600 block Front St.
Mamma mia…                        
A resident reported people being loud at Lighthouse Park.  The caller was notified that the noise was associated with the city-sponsored movie night.

Suspicious–8000 block SR-525
Man is MIA…
A caller requested a call as he had learned police had been at his residence earlier looking for him.  No answer at the door.  The caller was contacted by phone and would not say where he was at or meet with the officer.  He was told to contact the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Aug. 12

Animal Problem – 10200 block 53rd Ave. W
Bye bye birdie…
An officer assisted with the capture and release of a sparrow in the residence.

Vehicle Theft – 4800 block Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW
A green 1994 Saturn was stolen from the parking lot overnight.

Theft–11100 block Chennault Beach Rd.                
A resident reported the theft of his Mongoose mountain bike from the Baycourt Apartments that occurred sometime in the last three days.  Case is under investigation.            
Juvenile Problem – 5200 block 84th St. SW    
Ding-dong ditch…            
A resident reported juvenile females running up and down the street and ringing doorbells.  Officers contacted four adults who were playing Frisbee.  They agreed to go inside for the night.

Aug. 13

Malicious Mischief – 3800 block South Rd.        
Sometime during the previous night, someone cut a hole in the fence.  The caller said that nothing was missing from inside.

Suspicious – 9200 block 61st Ave. W.
Touring the neighborhood…        
A resident reported that a car was driving slowly through the neighborhood and passenger was taking pictures of each house they passed.  He described the car as a blue Audi.  The car was not located.

Suspicious – 11100 block 55th Ave. W.    
A resident reported that a solicitor scared her because he got too close to her.  The officers contacted a subject who said he was soliciting for “Second Chance.”  He did not have a permit and agreed to stop.

Burglary – 5100 block 92nd St. SW            
A resident reported that sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. someone entered her house through the north-side window.  A laptop and jewelry were missing.

Vehicle Prowl – 5300 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.
A resident reported that sometime during the previous night, someone entered her unlocked vehicle.  Her registration card, CDs, cash and a toolbox were missing.

Assist to Fire – 4600 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.
Assistance was requested with a 60-year-old female in front of the library.  The woman was transported to Providence hospital by private ambulance for a mental health evaluation.

Party Complaint – 2300 block Washington Ave.                     
An officer was dispatched to a report of a loud adult party.  The subjects agreed to quiet down.

Suspicious – 8400 block Naketa Ln.                        
An officer was dispatched to an area check for a suspicious black passenger car in the area.  The caller was concerned due to earlier police activity.  It was determined to likely be a subject delivering newspapers.

Aug. 14

Two-Vehicle Collision – Cyrus Way/Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW.                
A white Ford Explorer ran a red light and struck the side of a Chevy Tahoe, causing the Tahoe to roll over onto its roof.  Three subjects were transported to the hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries.

Collision – 10800 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.                            
A 16-year-old driver lost control of a Chevy Suburban while accelerating over a bump in the pavement in a parking lot.  The driver drove over a curb and crashed into a fence.  The driver was cited for reckless driving.

Suspicious – 10100 block 53rd Ave. W.            
A resident requested an area check after possibly hearing someone try to open the front door of her residence.  Officers did not locate anyone.

Aug. 15

Burglary/Assault – 13300 block 46th Place W.    
Officers responded to the above residence for a burglary in progress.  A caller reported that his brother-in-law had just broken down the back door of the above residence and was possibly armed with a gun.  The officers located the suspect about a block away.  He was not armed.  The residents were concerned for their safety because of previous incidents of domestic violence.  The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Residential Burglary and referred for three counts of assault.

Death Investigation – 4500 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.         
A woman from Kansas called to request that an officer check on her father. She was concerned because of his health issues, and said she had not heard from him for several days.  His vehicle was parked outside and his cell phone was heard ringing inside.  Entry was made with the assistance of the fire department.  He appeared to have been dead for several days but nothing appeared to be suspicious.  The medical examiner was still en route at the time of this report.

Juvenile Problem – Third and Park streets.                            
An officer was dispatched to a report of juveniles skateboarding at the Rosehill Community Center construction site.  The officer did not locate any damage, but the juveniles were warned for trespassing.

Verbal Domestic Violence – 12300 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.             
Officers were dispatched to a report of a mother and daughter screaming inside an apartment.  Contact was made with a woman and her 12-year-old daughter.  The daughter was upset that her mother took her cell phone away.

Suspicious/Civil Problem – 13000 block Beverly Park Rd.            
A resident reported that two males entered a storage yard after hours and were trying to open a storage container.  An officer made contact with two suspects.  It was determined that one of the suspects owned the storage unit but had been locked out of the storage yard because he was several months behind on rent.

Aug. 16

Suspicious Incident – 7700 block 45th Pl W.
Officers responded to a report from a “disoriented female caller” that her mother was missing and there were men in the house.  They confirmed the female was having mental problems and her medications were no longer working. She had several people at home, and they were notified of the call.  They said that they would keep a better eye on her.                 

Vehicle Prowl – 4500 block Finch St.
Sometime Saturday a vehicle was prowled and a laptop computer was stolen.  The incident is under investigation.

Mental Health Referral – 12700 block SR-525
Officers responded to the bus stop at the above location regarding a woman who was not eating and probably not caring for herself.  Officers contacted the woman, who was gravely disabled due to her mental illness.  She was taken to Providence hospital for treatment and a mental evaluation.

Theft – 1500 block Goat Trail Rd.
A resident reported jewelry stolen from her home over the past several days.  A renter’s date may have stolen the jewelry.  The incident is under investigation.

Fire Assist – 8700 block 46th Pl. W.
Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang up and on callback a hysterical male said his four year old son was unconscious.  Upon officer’s arrival the son was conscious and alert.  

Obstructing/Minor in Possession/Involuntary Commitment – 600 block Front St    
A caller reported an intoxicated male had been bothering people in the park.  A citizen reported the subject was a minor, and was last seen stumbling on Front Street.  The subject was located and identified himself by providing a false name.  While he was performing the preliminary breath test, the subject ran off.  He was taken into custody and gave numerous names that couldn’t be verified, until he was finally identified. After being cited and released, he was transported to Stevens Hospital by Rural Metro ambulance for an involuntary commitment due to an earlier attempt to harm himself.
