July 13

Juvenile Problem – 4500 block HP Blvd.
A caller requested contact regarding a juvenile male that she referred to as a “pedophile.”  An officer spoke to an 18-year-old male who said he was there to visit a friend.  The officer also spoke with the caller’s daughter who said there were no problems.  The caller did not answer the door or phone.

Suspicious – 4600 block 71st Place SW
Concerned about recent burglaries, a caller reported a male and female were wandering through the neighborhood.  She said they asked if she knew a certain male.  She said they seemed suspicious.  An officer checked the area, but they were not located.

Assault – 10801 HP Blvd.
A teacher at Kamiak reported she was assaulted by a special needs student on July 10.  She said that she did not want to pursue charges.

Fire Assist – 10601 47th Pl. W
The fire department requested an officer respond to the Y to assist with a patient who was having heart trouble and refusing to go to the hospital.  He signed the Refusal of Care form and arrangements were made for his wife to pick him up.  The fire department was concerned that he might try to drive.  Staff and friends agreed to stay with him until she arrived.

Suspicious – 11108 Chennault Beach Rd.
A resident reported that a tenant had his car parked outside his garage while he was cleaning out the garage, and two rifles were visible inside the car.

Juvenile Problem – 4891 76th St. SW
A caller reported that five juveniles had jumped the fence to access the Condo Community Pool.  She reported that only people with keys are allowed into the pool and that the kids didn’t have keys.  An officer contacted the kids, and one of them explained he was a resident but his mother wasn’t home to give him the pool key.  They agreed to leave until they had a key.

Narcotics – 4500 block 88th St. SW
A resident called regarding concerns she had that her son and daughter would be coming home “high.”  She said she did not want her 19-year-old son or 17-year-old daughter to be in the home if they were under the influence, and she was worried about an altercation occurring.  She was advised to call 911 if she needed assistance and referred to the Sheriff’s office regarding eviction assistance.  She was also provided information for her daughter who was reportedly recently kicked out of rehab for failing to comply.

Assist to Fire/Suspicious – 5200 block 84th St. SW
 Medical staff suspected a 54-year-old woman may have consumed some household cleaning solutions as well as some wine and various medications after residents reported she was knocking on their doors, yelling and saying she was suffering from brain trauma. She complained of paralysis and a spinal injury, and medical staff suspected she might be having some kind of allergic reaction. They also noted she had recently been involuntarily committed. They said she had indications of chemical burns on and in her mouth and on her chest, and found cleaning solutions, various medications and bottles of wine in her bedroom.

Juvenile Problem – 10801 HP Blvd.
An officer was dispatched to a report of several vehicles and kids in the Kamiak back parking lot. Various subjects were just talking and listening to music, but had left some garbage on the ground and were advised to pick it up.  They agreed to leave the area.  The school custodian again requests extra patrols while school is out.

Unwanted Subject – 4329 Chennault Beach Rd.
Fed up with a customer who reportedly causes problems every time he is at the race track, the manager of Traxx Racing asked police to “trespass,” ie; bar him, from entering the business. In the latest incident, the subject reportedly was being disruptive on the track and screaming at other customers. He left before officers arrived, and they were unable to contact him via phone.

Neighbor Dispute – 12303 HP Blvd.
An officer advised two neighbors to call 911 if there were further problems after the pair traded charges against each other. One claimed the other had been drinking and was yelling out her window. Officers determined the woman was not intoxicated. She said she had yelled out the window to tell the neighbors to quiet down.

Fireworks – 5300 HP Blvd.
An officer was dispatched to a report of fireworks being shot off into the trees.  The complainant reported this had been happening every night since July 4th.  The complainant wanted to remain anonymous, but pointed out the unit where the fireworks were coming from.  The resident in that unit denied having shot off any fireworks.  However, remnants of fireworks were located outside that apartment.  The complainant was advised to again call 911 when fireworks were observed.

Indecent Exposure – 11108 Chennault Beach Rd.

A subject reportedly exposed himself to a woman and began masturbating in the presence of her children and a friend inside the gym at the Bay Court Apartments.  The subject fled when the victim told him to leave.  The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his 30s, about 5’8” tall, with sandy brown hair.  He was reportedly barefoot and wearing khaki pants or shorts and a green/blue shirt.  The gym has surveillance cameras in place.  The case is under investigation.

July 14

Suspicious Incident – 900 block 1st St.
A caller reported a vehicle prowl in progress at the Sounder Train Station, and when officers arrived, the caller positively identified two boys as the suspects. However, officers found no prowled vehicles, and the youths were released.

Juvenile Problem – 11100 block Chennault Beach Rd.
A mother went to pick up her children from her ex-husband but the children did not want to go with her.  Following a discussion with officers, the children ultimately went with their mom. 

Juvenile Problem – 900 block 1st St.
Ah, summer…
About 20 juveniles jumping off the pier at the old tank farm got their marching orders after an officer warned them about trespassing.

Juvenile Problem – 5300 block Harbour Pointe Blvd.
A caller reported kids were throwing rocks in the parking lot, and when she told them to stop they threw a rock at her (which she recanted).  The officer contacted three juveniles (6 – 8 years of age) who denied throwing rocks.
                                            
Hang Up – 8300 block 53rd Ave. W
A complainant reported a male in a vehicle who does not live in the complex comes there to wash his vehicle and also deals narcotics there.  Officers located the unoccupied vehicle.  They later located a subject who was visiting a friend who resided there.
                                 
Residential Burglary – 5700 block 105th Pl. SW
A burglar pried open a rear window to a home and stole various electronics.

Washington State Patrol requested that a Mukilteo officer check on a cooler left by the ferry terminal.  The red cooler contained dirty plates, etc. and was taken as found property.

July 15

Suicide – 5700 block 128th St. SW
Officers responded to a report of shots fired and, upon arrival, determined a subject had shot herself. Attempts by paramedics to resuscitate the subject were unsuccessful.

Civil – 12300 block Club House Ln.
The downside of living on a golf course…
A homeowner couldn’t tell police who had to take a mulligan after a golf ball crashed through a window in his home. He was advised to contact the golf course.

Collision – 11700 block SR 525
No one was injured after the driver of a vehicle plowed into the rear end of another vehicle that had stopped for traffic. The driver of the first vehicle was cited for following too close.

Identity Theft – 5400 block 111th Pl. SW
A caller reported someone attempted to use his information and credit card to purchase a $150 gift card, which was declined.

DUI – 11800 block SR525
Not so fast food…
A hungry motorist reported the driver of a vehicle in the drive thru took 15 minutes to order and kept getting in and out of his vehicle and stumbled getting back in.  Officers located the vehicle, which was legally parked and occupied in the parking lot.  However, they determined the driver wasn’t in any condition to drive, and he was transported home.

July 16

Animal Complaint    – 5800 block 107th Place SW
An officer responded to the above location for a report that a dog had entered the retention pond and was killing the sheep.  The officer retrieved three Yorkies from the enclosure and returned them to their owner.  The sheep were unharmed.

Suspicious – 11700 block SR 525
A caller reported that a male and a female were having sex in their vehicle in the parking lot behind the location.  They were gone when officers arrived.

Party/Assist FD – 10000 block 48th Ave. W
Old Testament, missing chapter…
Officers were dispatched to an anonymous report of a party involving at least 15 adults and juveniles.  The partiers were reportedly burning shrubs on the roadway and driving a golf cart while intoxicated.  Officers met with the fire dept. on scene who advised the burning shrubs were on the side of the road across from the party.  The shrubs had reportedly ignited as a result of spontaneous combustion and the fire was unrelated to the party.  The partiers were warned to keep their noise down, and the golf cart that was being played with by juveniles was removed from the roadway.

Juvenile Problem – 5000 block 99th St. SW
An officer was dispatched to the area for a report of some juveniles in a dark vehicle driving around honking the horn, speeding, and yelling swear words out the window.  They were gone when officers arrived.

Fireworks/Malicious Mischief – 9400 block 63rd Pl. W
A caller reported juveniles on the beach lighting off fireworks.  Upon an officer’s arrival, the juveniles were driving away and stopped to speak with the officer.  The juveniles reported that they had not been using fireworks but said they believed the reporting person had thrown rocks at their car.  They requested the incident be documented.  The officer did not observe any obvious damage to the vehicle and did not observe any fireworks being used.

Vehicle Prowl – 9600 block Harbour Place
Thieves lifted a pickup’s registration and insurance card, but nothing else, after breaking the passenger door window to gain access.

July 17

Theft    – 10500 47th Pl. W
A caller reported that more than 50 of his political signs were missing from Mukilteo and surrounding south Snohomish County locations.  He wanted the situation documented.

Traffic Hazard – 4000 block SR 526
An officer was dispatched to the above area for a report of a dead deer in the roadway. Everett animal control was on scene and removed the remains.

Suspicious – 7200 block 44th Pl. W
A resident reported a male was walking through the neighborhood and appeared to be looking into garages.  The subject was soliciting for a pest control company.  He did not have a solicitor’s license and agreed to stop until he obtained one.

Juvenile Problem/Trespassing – 900 1st St.
In one of Mukilteo’s time-honored traditions, about 20 juveniles trespassed on the oil docks, and an officer kicked them out and warned them about trespassing.

Domestic Violence Assault – 10700 block 58th Ave. W
 A female was arrested for domestic violence, assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia after getting into a physical confrontation with her father.  She was transported to the emergency room and, after being cleared, was booked at the Snohomish County Jail.

July 18

Verbal DV – 9400 block Hidden Forest Dr.
A female called to report that she was involved in a verbal argument two hours prior with her boyfriend. She wanted officers to make her boyfriend leave the apartment.  Officers spoke to the boyfriend and he refused to leave, but agreed to not cause further problems.

Juvenile Problem – 4800 block 76th St. SW
Parenting skills 101…
A resident requested a phone call about her 17-year-old daughter who was at her boyfriend’s house in Edmonds and was refusing to come home. She said her daughter was not in any danger at the location, but wanted her to come home.  An officer suggested she go pick her daughter up. 

Assist Sheriff’s Deputies – 11800 block SR 525
Officers were dispatched to the location for a report from SNOPAC of a suspect associated with a black Mustang who was using a stolen credit card at the location. A short while later, Sheriff’s deputies entered into a pursuit of the vehicle outside Mukilteo.  A subsequent K-9 track resulted in the arrest of at least one suspect who had apparently committed a car prowl in Everett and stolen the credit card.

Disorderly Subjects – 8100 block 46th Pl. W
A resident reported that his neighbors were setting off fireworks and urinating on the driveway.  Most of the subjects left just prior to officers’ arrival. An officer spoke with one of the residents on scene and another via phone.  They were warned to control their guests’ behavior.

July 19

Vehicle Prowl – 10200 block 50th Pl. W
Thieves took advantage of an unlocked vehicle, stealing several electronic items.

Vehicle Prowl – 9600 block 50th Pl. W
There must be a now-lost feeling of trust on 50th where another unlocked vehicle was prowled, the thieves taking some sunglasses, a cell phone charger and a GPS unit.

2 Vehicle Collision – Paine Field Blvd@84th St. SW
A sedan plowed into the rear end of a bus stopped on the northbound lane of Paine Field Blvd. There were no injuries.

Juvenile Problem – 4700 block 78th Pl. SW
Angry that his mother was forcing him to go outside, a juvenile reportedly took it out on a car, hitting the vehicle with a 2x4. The car declined to press charges.

Vehicle Prowl – 9800 block Harbour Pl.
Another trusting – or clueless – victim left her vehicle unlocked. Result? Purse stolen.

Assault – 5800 block 112th Pl.
A woman delivering newspapers reportedly was assaulted at about 4 a.m. at the above address. The non-English speaking woman brought an interpreter with her to the police station to report the assault.

Juvenile Problem – 1100 block 3rd St.
It goes without saying…
A complainant reported that six juveniles were headed into Japanese Gulch and was worried that they “were up to no good.”  The juveniles were not located.
