Victim's debit account was accessed in Tennessee and Arkansas over the weekend.  No one had permission to make those charges.  Under investigation.

Theft of motor vehicle  5000 blk 84 St SW

 

Victim's vehicle, a gold 93 Infinity, G-20, 4-Dr was stolen between 0100 Hrs and 1500 hrs on April 10, from the above address.

Juvenile problem  2600 blk SR-525 

 

Officer responded to above location regarding a group of students in possession of alcohol on campus.  School staff had discovered a group of students with an alcohol spiked sports drink, passing it around.  The students’ parents were called and they and the school decided to deal with the situation as a school matter.

Traffic complaint   88 St SW / 53 Av W

 

Caller stated that there are frequently cars speeding back and forth on 88 St S W at 53 Av W.  The cars are speeding and making it dangerous for pedestrians.  Extra patrols are requested particularly at the above location at about 1545, when the school bus drops off passengers.

Subject reported his vehicle was broken into between 04-04-10 to 04-08-10 while he left it parked in the 1600 block of Lumley AV and several stereo items and a computer monitor were missing.  Under investigation.

Horizon Security reported a loud party with loud rap music at the above listed apartment and no one would answer the door.  No noise was heard upon officer’s arrival.  No one answered the door.  The problem was going to be handled internally through management.

One costly latte

 

Complainant left credit card at Starbucks April 11 and received a call from the bank reporting the card was used in Lynnwood for nearly $900 in charges.  Under investigation.

Suspicious incident 12600 blk Humming Bird St

 

Officer met the complainant at the station regarding a collection agency trying to collect on an account that the complainant never heard of.  The account is a Verizon phone account that the collection agency indicated they had purchased from Verizon.

 The complainant contacted Verizon and they said that they had no record of any such account.  The officer advised the complainant to send that information to the collections company.

Officer found a full grown adult female Black Lab running loose at the above location.  The dog had a red collar and no tags or I-D Chip.  The dog was impounded to P A W S.

R/P reported her neighbor’s van door was open and the neighbor was not answering their door.  The officer contacted the R/O of the car who was not sure if it had been accidentally left open or not.  Nothing appeared missing and there was no sign of forced entry.

The officer stopped a car for a moving violation and subsequently arrested the driver for DUI.  Results .085, .098.  Cited and released.

Suspicious–4500 blk Harbour Pointe BL

 

R/P reported hearing someone in the parking lot say, “He’s pulling a knife on me.”  Two adult males then left in an unknown type vehicle.  GOA.

 

April 14

 

Stalking-arrest – 10500 47th Pl. W.                                                                                   

 

R/P reported that her ex-boyfriend has been following her and leaving various notes and messages for her this past week.  He contacted the R/P earlier today and left balloons, notes, etc.  then followed her to the PD tonight despite being told on at least two previous occasions by officers that he was to avoid any contact with her. 

The R/P was extremely frightened and locked herself in the vestibule until officers arrived.  Officers arrested the ex and also served him with a court order.  He was booked into the Sno. County Jail.

An employee at the above location reported there was a Nissan in the parking lot all afternoon that appeared to have been in a collision with airbag deployment.  Officers were unaware of any collisions in the area and the vehicle was not reported stolen.

Malicious mischief – Harbour Pointe           

 

Was there a moron convention in town?                                   

 

A resident on the 10100 block of 48th Street reported that the driver side mirror of their vehicle was shattered, possibly with a baseball bat. While on the call, officers found several other vehicles also with their driver’s side mirrors smashed.

The following day, another motorist reported a smashed driver’s side mirror.

 

 

Harassment – 11500 blk SR 525                                                                                   

 

R/P reported receiving threatening texts and calls from a subcontractor affiliated with his autobody shop.  The case is under investigation.

 

March 15

 

Luring        2600 blk SR 525                                   

 

The officer responded to above location for a report of possible luring.  The R/P reported that on April 14 two males in a blue sedan asked her if she wanted a ride.  They were described as white males, about 19 to 21 years old.  She said that she walked away and heard them continue to make comments but could not hear specifically what was said.  She described the vehicle as possibly a Volvo.

R/P reported a check for $885 was taken from his home the previous day.  He suspected his daughter who had been at his house at the time.  The officer was unable to contact the suspect.  The case is under investigation.

Disturbance             4600 blk Harbour Pt Blvd                       

 

The officers responded to the above location for an assault that just occurred.  The R/P reported that a subject punched him after the R/P made an inappropriate comment about the subjects physique.  The suspect approached the R/P and challenged him to repeat the comment then he inadvertently “belly bumped” the R/P but did not punch him.  There was no evidence of a crime.  The subject was warned about making contact and the R/P was warned for Provoking an Assault.

Suspicious – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. SW.                                                                (

 

Officers were dispatched to a possible vehicle theft in progress at the above location.  A male was seen tampering with the steering column of a truck.  Contact was made with the subject and two companions and it was determined that he was the owner of the truck.  The subjects had likely been involved in some type of drug transaction and were all told to leave the area.

R/P reported that he inadvertently put his credit card in the wrong slot while paying for gas at the above location and was now concerned that the cashier might take his card.  The officer assisted the R/P in getting the card back.

Suspicious/welfare check – Chennault Beach/H.P. Blvd.                                               

 

Officers were dispatched to an area check for a juvenile female wearing a red dress and ballet shoes.  The female was reportedly pulling a suitcase and trying to flag down a vehicle.  The R/P reported that the female then hid the suitcase and a handbag in the bushes.  The female and items were GOA.

 

April 16

 

Animal problem   9000 Blk 4 St

 

Officer met with a dog owner who had found their small dog deceased in an area back behind their back yard.  It appeared that the dog had been killed by a raccoon or a coyote. NFA.

Blocking accident SR-525/Chennault Bch Rd

 

How much time did you save, genius?

 

Veh 1 was following Veh 2 N/B on SR-525 approaching Chennault Bch Rd.  The traffic signal turned to amber and Veh 2 stopped.  Veh 1 struck Veh 2 from behind pushing it through the intersection. Veh 2 blocked one lane in each direction for 30 minutes until towed away.

Assault 1/eluding 5000 Blk 81 Pl SW

 

Officers responded to the above address regarding a disturbance involving a gun being brandished. Two suspects had just left the scene in a maroon SUV. While responding to the call officers located the suspect vehicle. 

After a brief pursuit the vehicle was stopped and the two occupants detained.  It was determined that the occupants of the vehicle had previously argued with another person, who confronted them at the door with a semi auto pistol. That subject was taken into custody.

Victim residence was burgled sometime between 0830 and 1254 hrs.  The victim returned home and found one of his computers sitting outside his back door.  The residence was searched and no one was found inside.  There were three handguns stolen.  Under investigation.

Harassment – 5400 Blk Harbour Pt. Blvd                                    

 

R/P said that an unwanted female phoned him three times today.  R/P does not want to get an order against her or take steps to prevent her from calling because it would “inconvenience him”.  The officer phoned the female and asked her to stop calling the R/P.  She said that the R/P is going through a difficult time and she wanted to be part of his support group, but agreed to stop calling.

The officers responded to the pier for four men illegally crabbing.  The officers located the men who were crabbing with one license.  They dumped their crab and the officers warned them.

R/P again called and said that the female was continuing to call him.  He said that he is moving out of the state tomorrow and hoped that would take care of the problem. 

 

 

April 17

 

Suspicious vehicle  800 Blk 2 St

 

Officer responded to a report of a vehicle abandoned in the alley blocking the driveway to the business at the above location.  Officer found the vehicle parked in the private parking area of the business. 

The business owner was advised that they could have the vehicle towed off the property if it was there without authorization.  The vehicle was impounded privately to Mary's Towing.

Neighbors of the apartment searched on the previous day reported a lot of people in and out of the apartment.  It appeared that they were moving out after being served eviction papers by the landlord on.

R/P reported his sister packed her belongings, apologized for prior behavior, said she wanted a fresh start and left the residence. 

 

April 18

Officer responded to an anonymous complaint of tagging at the park.  Officer found some tables, signs and a log on the beach had been tagged with spray paint.

Suspicious incident 4600 Blk Har Pt Blvd

 

Perhaps keep better track?

 

Caller lost or misplaced a flash drive while using a computer at the library.  He accused a juvenile at the library of taking the drive.  He did not have it.  The complainant said he has lost three flash drives in the past.  He did not want any report.

Officer making a park check was advised by several park goers that a woman was walking on the beach with no clothes on playing air bongos and talking loudly to herself. 

Officers contacted s female who was angry and hostile towards officers.  She was told that she was being inappropriate at the beach and she had to leave.  She left without further incident.

Assault 4 DV –                       

 

R/P reported that her son pushed her to the ground and then kicked and punched her while she was in the fetal position.  He then broke a flowerpot and left on foot with his girlfriend. Officers located the two in the woods.  (S-1) was ultimately booked into the Denny Youth Center on assault 4DV, malicious mischief 3DV, obstructing, and a malicious mischief 3 warrant.

Burglary 2/theft of a motor vehicle – 10800 Blk Harbour Pt. Blvd           

 

Too dumb to pass the driver’s test

 

The officers responded to the location for two juveniles that stole a golf cart from a storage area and drove it toward the ball fields.  The cart was located a short distance away by the ball fields, but the juveniles were not located.   

 

Suspicious person – 13200 Blk Beverly Park Road           

 

Escape – you’re doing it wrong

 

R/P reported that a male associated with a blue Chevy Silverado was standing in his driveway when he got home.  The male told the R/P that he was trying to get away from the cops and he thought a cop was behind him.  The male left in his vehicle and was not located.  Officers also passed the information on to SCSO in case they were looking for him.

Malicious mischief 3DV/theft –

 

While on the above assault 4DV call, R/P reported that her son damaged some walls in the house while they were arguing and stole $150 and a ring from her.  Case sent to the juvenile prosecutor for review.

Attempted vehicle theft – 4900 Blk 81st Place SW            

 

R/P reported that he just saw someone run off after being in his neighbor’s car.  Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the area and identified the occupants.  They denied the theft.  K9 also searched the area while officers spoke with the above subjects with negative results.  The owner of the vehicle gave consent to search the passenger’s compartment, but would not allow officers to search the trunk.  The officers did not locate anything illegal.

Warrant service/VUCSA – 4600 Blk Chennault Beach Road              

 

The officers responded to the location for two males stealing metal out of the recycle bin.  Upon arrival, officers located one male in a vehicle and the other lying down behind a nearby recycle bin. 

A check on the first male revealed an outstanding warrant for DWLS-3rd degree.  During the search incident to arrest, the officer located methamphetamines on him and ultimately booked into the county jail on the warrant and the drugs.
