Traffic hazard

 

Dispatch received six calls regarding trees leaning over phone lines and cable transmitters.  Verizon was called and responded to take care of the problem.

Suspicious incident – 5800 block Chennault Beach Road

 

Homeowner found three workers in her fenced back yard with strange tools.  Officer discovered that the tenant had scheduled the workers to pressure wash the roof. There was no problem at the location.

Officer met with two women who each needed information on how to stop the other from e-mailing and/or making contact with them after a 20-plus year friendship ended.  They were advised to obtain no contact orders.

Vehicle recovery 3300 blk Paine Av, Everett

 

Dispatch advised that Everett P D had recovered a Mukilteo stolen vehicle at Intercounty Towing at the above location.  The owner of the car was notified and the vehicle was removed from WACIC Stolen Vehicle File.

R/P reported that his neighbor (unknown name) in his neighborhood is dealing narcotics.  R/P said there is lots of vehicle traffic at all hours and he has witnessed exchanges.

Malicious mischief-900 blk 1st ST                                                           

 

R/P reported the back window of his vehicle broke when he got in and closed the door and suspected it had been damaged prior by someone trying to break into it.  Nothing was missing.

The officer responded to an open cell phone 911 call from the above area with talking and laughter in the background.  The officer determined it came from the 700 blk 16th PL and contacted the dialer who said it was accidental.

R/P reported a large party with more than 50 people attending and 40 cars on the road.  The partygoers left without incident.  The resident was cited for furnishing liquor to minors.

Malicious mischief 5400 blk Har Pt Blvd

 

Victim's car was keyed in front of the above residence overnight.  Victim's son is suspected.  Under investigation.

R/P reported receiving four rapid succession phone calls at 12:15 a.m.  The caller said his name and claimed he was calling from Goodwill.  The caller asked for clothing donations to be left out on the curb.  Due to the lateness of the call and the fact that it is an unlisted/unpublished number, the R/P requested extra patrol in the area.

Civil problem  5800 blk 86 Pl SW

 

Complainant said his neighbor was trimming his trees.  Officer found that the neighbor had taken down a large tree limb that had grown over his property.  The complainant has allowed the neighbor to trim limbs over his property in the past.  He was told that such disagreements needed to be dealt with through a civil court.

Parking complaint 4700 blk Wilmington Way

 

Officer responded to the above location regarding a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road.  A trailer was reported to be parked with a pressure washer chained to a tree.  Officer issued a parking ticket and marked the vehicle for impound.

R/P reported that a vehicle hit the median and knocked over a sign (Public Works service request completed) and finally stopped at 8200 blk 44th AV W.  The driver was cited for reckless driving.

Suspicious–600 Front ST

 

R/P reported a dark blue small SUV type vehicle (unknown license) was last seen turning west onto Front ST from SR525 and a woman in the backseat was yelling, “stop.”  GOA.

Malicious Mischief II–7900 blk SR525

 

An employee from the above business reported a male had vandalized vehicles in the parking lot.  The subject was last seen southbound SR525 on foot.  Officers located the subject at the post office.  Subsequent investigation revealed the subject had kicked and punched a vehicle causing $1000-plus in damage.  He was booked and lodged at the Snohomish County Jail.

Alarm Concept reported an audible commercial burglary alarm covering central motion at the above location.  The subscriber was already inside the business when the officer arrived.  The subscriber said both doors were secure

and the business appeared okay.  A yellow card was left. 

 

March 31

 

Animal Complaint                        1500 blk Goat Trail Rd                                   

 

The officer responded to the above area for a report of a golden retriever running in the roadway.  It was not located.

 

Criminal Traffic            4500 84th St SW           

 

Yeah, we can count on that…                     

 

The officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense and found the driver’s license to be suspended.  He was cited and released with a promise not to drive.

The officer responded to the above area for a report of two males selling meat out of the back of a burgundy pickup truck.  They were not located.

R/P reported that her husband called Compass Health twice, claiming to be an Everett police officer and inquiring if she was there.  The officer called the husband and he admitted to making the calls.  (He was calling from Lincoln, Nebraska.)  The case will be sent to the prosecutor for charging.

The officers responded to the above location for a vehicle vs. building collision.  The driver said that she hit the accelerator instead of the brake.  She was not injured.

Forget somebody?

 

The officers responded to the above apartment for a report that a dog had been left inside for several days.  The officer spoke to the dog’s owner by phone who gave permission to enter the apartment and remove the dog.  The dog was taken to PAWS pending the owner’s return.

R/P reported that his friend was suicidal and was trying to kill herself by starvation.  The officers determined that the friend was not suicidal and was not a threat to herself.

The officer was dispatched to a report of an ongoing problem with a juvenile male driving around with a loud exhaust.  The officer contacted the subject and he agreed to repair the exhaust system.

Juvenile Problem – 4900 blk 101st Pl. SW.                                                                       

 

R/P reported that neighborhood kids have been playing with his cat and he wanted them to stop.  The officer gave him some suggestions on how to resolve the matter.

An anonymous complainant reported that a female might be driving through the area intoxicated in a silver Pontiac around 8 p.m.  The vehicle was GOA.

Confined Stray Dog 8900 blk 45th Pl. W.                                                                                                                                                                                                     The homeowner reported finding a small Pomeranian type dog that she was unable to keep overnight.  The dog did not have any tags or chip and was transported to the PD for the night.

Warrant/criminal trespass/obstructing – 84th/SR 525.                                   

 

The officer contacted a subject at the 7-Eleven and determined he had a warrant.  He fled on foot and later attempted to hide in a backyard etc.  A K-9 track was conducted but he was not found.

The officer responded to above location for a 7-year-old child that had been dropped off for school.  The school was closed for spring break.  The officer contacted the child’s mother who responded and picked him up.

The officer was dispatched to the above business for harassment compliant.  The complainant reported that their business phone line had been jammed due to a lot of calls from a location in Hawaii.  The business agreed to try to block the number.  It was also possibly a glitch in the phone system.

Found Property                        5300 blk 104th Street SW                       

 

R/P reported that about 7 juveniles jumped a fence and were in the greenbelt behind his residence.  He said one of them had a leaf blower with him and left it behind when they left.  The officers did not locate the juveniles or any evidence of a burglary in the neighborhood.  The leaf blower was booked into evidence as found property.

Island County requested that the officer check the inbound ferry for a tan 96’ Windstar.  The female driver was reportedly involved in a domestic dispute earlier.  The vehicle was GOA.

Assist Law/Civil Problem 10500 47th Pl. W.                                                           

 

R/P came to the PD to report that she was being harassed by a relative.  It was determined that the relative had sent a process server to the R/P’s residence to serve her with court papers.  The incident all took place in the unincorporated county.  The officer assisted the subjects in coordinating a time to exchange the papers.

The officer was dispatched to an area check for two juveniles in the area possibly trying to open car doors.  The subjects were GOA and there were no obvious signs of any vehicle prowls.

Officers were dispatched to an area check for two subjects associated with a tan car possibly looking through mailboxes in the area.  The subjects were GOA and there were no signs that any mailboxes had been tampered with.

 

April 2

 

Non-report accident 4600 Blk Chennault Bch Rd

 

Officer responded to a two vehicle collision at the above location.  A semi tractor trainer backed into an F-250 pickup.  There was non-reportable damage and the Officer assisted the parties with exchange of information.

Public Assist 1100 Block Mukilteo Blvd

 

Officer responded to the area regarding a report of an elderly man walking in the roadway.  Officer contacted a male walking with a walker, who waved the officer over at the above location.  The man was a stroke recovery patient at a family nursing home in the area.  He had become turned around walking from the bus to his new residence.  Officer gave him a ride to the nursing home.

Victim vehicle parked at the above location was broken in to overnight.  A laptop computer and two i-Pods were taken.  Under investigation.

A WSP Trooper was on scene with a victim of a vehicle prowl that occurred overnight.  The officer determined it to be a hit and run collision.  No suspects.

R/P reported her ex hadn’t brought their two children back in violation of their parenting plan.  R/P has not seen the children in a year.  Marysville PD was already investigating this incident and were going to document it.  Both parties were referred to the court to update the parenting plan.

R/P reported a male and two females were cut off from drinking, asked to leave and refused.  The subjects left prior to the officers arrival.  NFA.

R/P reported his condo was broken into.  Golf clubs, watches and jewelry were missing.  No sign of forced entry.

R/P reported someone was pounding on her front door.  It turned out to be the victim from the above call.  NFA.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery–8300 Blk 53rd AV W

 

R/P reported an occupied suspicious pickup parked in front of the location for over an hour.  Upon arrival (before vehicle was located) a male was seen walking into the complex.  Officers located a vehicle reported stolen by CHP Sacramento, CA.  A K9 track was conducted with negative results.  Several GPS units and tools were in the vehicle.  Impounded by Shannon Towing.

Officers checked on a driver who had been parked in the parking lot for the past 6 hours.  Officers contacted a subject who said that he was from New York and was here to go to work at Boeing.

Officers checked SR-525 for a white mini-van driven in an irratic manner from HWY-99.  The van was not located.

Officer checked the area for two neighbors' dogs fighting.  Nothing was located.

R/P reported theft of $300.00 cash from her purse over night.  The suspect is known to the R/P.  Under investigation.

Traffic Complaint – 4500 Blk Harbour Pt. Blvd                        

 

Unclear on the concept

 

R/P was upset because a car almost hit him while he was jaywalking in his area.  He wanted another crosswalk put in at the location, but the officer told him that he should use one of the two existing crosswalks (47th/Harbour Pt. or Harbour Pt./SR 525) and that it would likely be his fault if he were struck by a car while jaywalking.  R/P said that he was going to write a letter to the city and ask that another crosswalk be installed.

The officers responded to the location for a silver Mazda truck that was unable to stay in his lane and was stopping in the middle of the road.  The officer located the vehicle and stopped it for a traffic infraction.  The driver was not intoxicated, just lost.

The officers responded to a silent commercial alarm at the location.  While checking the perimeter, the officers found a TV lying outside of the back door.  Containment was set and Edmonds K9 tracked the suspect(s) south from the location, but the suspect(s) was not located.

The officers responded to a loud party at the above location.  They found several people playing Rock Band there.  The gamers agreed to keep the noise down.

R/P reported a male in a silver Hyundia was possibly doing drugs.  The officer contacted a female delivering newspapers in such a vehicle and she was not doing drugs.

Suspicious incident 2100 Blk Clover Ct

 

Officers responded to the above address regarding a vehicle prowl that had just happened.  The caller said a strange woman had been at the residence just prior to discovery of the prowl.  The woman was described as wearing a flower printed skirt a tan skirt and a strange hat.  She had left on foot towards the school.  Officers contacted a subject and found that nothing had been taken and that no one had seen the woman in the vehicle.

R/P reported that an unknown actor had attempted to use his social security number to open a new phone service with ATT.  The credit bureau alerted ATT and the R/P of the fraud and the account was denied by ATT.  Under investigation.

Officer responded to Lighthouse Park regarding a report of a subject loading the parking payment station into a pickup.  Officer found that the Diamond Parking Company was moving the pay stations at the request of the city.

Open Door–1500 Blk W Horizon DR

 

R/P reported a multi-million dollar house under construction with an open door.  He saw a white Chevrolet truck in front of the house earlier.  Officers found a home unsecured and no sign of forced entry.  The residence checked okay.  The front door was secured.  The rear of the residence is under construction and open.  There had been an open house at the residence earlier in the day.
