Kendall Edward Mortimer, 83, longtime resident of Mukilteo went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 13. He was born Aug. 27, 1926, in Gypsum, Kansas, to Wesley and M. Irene (Sorenson) Mortimer.

After high school, Ken joined the Marine Corps where he proudly served his country. He was also captain on a tugboat working in Puget Sound. He then married Kathleen LaBeau and had two daughters whom he loved very much.
