Voyager Band is having a "Swingin' into Spring" jazz concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, in the Voyager Commons. The concert will feature the Wolverine 7th and 8th grade jazz bands and choir, and also includes a guest performance by the Purple Passion Swing Band. This fundraiser is to help pay for a Music in the Parks/ Wild Waves field trip in June. Last year Voyager took first place in the jazz band and parade divisions at the Music in the Parks Festival.
There will be a dance floor available, and dessert is included in the $6 ticket price.

Attention teens
If you’re in grades 6-12, join the Mukilteo Family YMCA for Teen Night on Saturday, May 3rd from 7 – 10 p.m. Come play basketball, enter the dodgeball tournament, play guitar hero, skate in the skate park (weather permitting), win raffle prizes, eat free pizza and hang out with your friends. Lions dinner slated
The Mukilteo Lions will celebrate their 40th anniversary by holding an Italian Dinner Celebration, at 6:30 p.m. on May 3. The dinner will be held at the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club, 1134 2nd St. Mukilteo. All proceeds will benefit the Mukilteo Community and High School Scholarships.
Junior Football and Cheer slate registrations
Mukilteo Junior Football and Cheer are now accepting registrations for the Fall 2008 season. The program is open to all boys and girls within the Mukilteo School District between the ages of 7 - 14. Mariner scholarship fundraiser set
MHS Alumni Association presents the Second Annual Dinner and Auction scholarship fundraiser for Mariner High School, from 6-10 p.m. May 2, at The Manor, 13032 Admiralty Way, Everett.
The theme for this gathering is a Cinco de Mayo style fiesta. Dinner features authentic Mexican food and adult beverages. There will be silent and live auction activity for those looking to support a great cause. Have lots of fun besides snagging a great bargain or two and connect with friends.

Spring Musical tickets on sale
Tickets for Kamiak High's spring musical, Guys and Dolls, are now on sale. Guys and Dolls runs May 2, 3, 9, 10 at 7 p.m. and May 10 at 2 p.m. Reservation can be made by calling 425-356-6654 x3. All seats are reserved. Tickets are $12 adults and $9 children, students, and senior citizens.

The Mukilteo Boys and Girls Club will be hosting the 2008 Volleyball Clinic at Kamiak High School May 3rd and 4th. Children’s Clothing Exchange scheduled
Pass on your outgrown kids clothing and come shop for the sizes you need! The free spring Mukilteo Children’s Clothing Exchange will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, May 12 and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m Tuesday, May 13 at Mukilteo Presbyterian Church. Bring your washed children’s clothes (ages 0-18) in good condition to the church office in May or the day of the event. Donating clothes is not required to shop. You can give, take, or do both! Summer camp reservations open
Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club Summer Day Camps will be from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., June 23 - August 29 / Mon – Fri. The camp will include two Weekly field trips, snacks, and Camp shirts, as well as weekly themes, indoor/outdoor sports and activities, plus water and bike/scooter activities, arts & crafts, and much more.

Great adventures at YMCA camp
Registration for licensed Summer Enrichment Camp is well under way at your Mukilteo Family YMCA. Summer Enrichment Camps run weekly this summer beginning the week of June 23 for kids entering kindergarten through sixth grade. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with free extended care from 6:30 – 8:30 a.m. and 4 - 6:30 p.m. Camp locations include Columbia Elementary, Discovery Elementary, and Picnic Point Elementary. Weekly themes consist of field trips, activities, and swimming at the Mukilteo Family YMCA.
