I would like to thank and commend Troop 189’s representatives who gave cheerful service to the Mukilteo Historical Society and the Descendants of the Pioneers this past weekend.
They assisted in set up and teardown for the “Return to Mukl-te-oh” treaty event on Sunday, Aug. 22.
These Boy Scouts and their parents spent more than four hours transporting, setting up, and later tearing down the majority of the event. This included almost 200 chairs, 16 large tables, and four 10-by-10 canopies. They also assisted in other duties, such as unloading food for 500.
Our special thanks to Eagle Scout Ben Pilloud, Life Scout Gabe Pilloud and Second Class Scout Ryan Stewart. We also thank Scout Leader Susan Stewart and Assistant Scout Master Sam Pilloud.
Sincerely,
John Petroff ,
President Mukilteo Historical Society
