I appreciate all the work you're doing to install red-light cameras in Mukilteo. However, I have a suggestion.
Instead of worrying about people running red lights, maybe you could do something about the parade of drug dealers in front of my house?
Just the other day I watched a deal go down right by Eagle Bluff Lane and then the two guys in the car did their coke/crystal meth/whatever WHILE THEY DROVE!
But, of course, there was no red-light camera to catch them, so I just took down their license plate. Let me know if you want it.
Now, I know that having human police officers conduct actual law enforcement does not generate the kind of revenue you get from red-light cameras.
But sometimes there are more important things than increasing the city's budget. I hope you agree that getting drugs and drug dealers off the streets are two of those things.
Sincerely, David Walker Mukilteo
