Annexation won’t help

I am not usually a NIMBY, (Not In My Backyard) person, but citizens of Mukilteo must agree our backyard is very nice.
I admit, I am against annexation.
Recent letters to the editor use scare tactics to make us think casinos will be up and down the Speedway. I don't think so.
Unfortunately for the landlord, keeping a tenant in the building across from Chennault Beach Road has not worked out.
The casino will probably come and go before we know it. If we do annex, we will get a lot more than ONE casino. Take a drive on Highway 99.
Why would we want to expand? Who will benefit? I don't think it's Mukilteo. I like our little town, one mile wide and six miles long, just the way it is!
