The Lighthouse Festival's annual Run-A-Muk 5K and 10K run and walk through Old Town Mukilteo was held the morning of Aug. 28 and was well attended by both the community and out-of-towners.

Some highlights from the 2010 Run-A-Muk:
• 85-year-old Anders Jacobsen was there; he runs the event every year and was the first to register for the run.
• Age-group winner and coach Nina Bakketun and coach Charlie LeWarne helped set an example for the Kamiak High School Cross Country team.
• Kamiak Cross Country’s Ann Marie Wegley and Emily Benz crossed the finish line together hand in hand to win first place in their age group for the 5K.
